Bob Arnold, President
Mr. Arnold is co-founder and President of TelAuthority, LLC a global telecommunications sourcing negotiation and cost management consulting firm. With over 20 years of pricing related experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Arnold is well know as a respected industry leader in driving pricing solutions with an unmatched mix of knowledge, scope of experience, creativity and depth of industry relationships.
Prior to establishing TelAuthority, Mr. Arnold was Vice President – Individual Case Bases (ICB) Pricing at AT&T. In this capacity, he was responsible for all core Enterprise Business ICB Pricing for a $20 Billion base of customers. He led a team responsible for developing custom pricing arrangements for over 40,000 individually negotiated opportunities/contracts. Mr. Arnold was directly involved in developing pricing solutions for numerous $10M-$100M+ per year contracts that often included leading edge price points, custom network designs and unique terms and conditions.
Prior to the BellSouth/AT&T merger, Mr. Arnold was Vice President – Strategic Pricing at BellSouth. Over a six year period in this role, he had pricing responsibility for all customer segments including Consumer, Small Business, Large Business and Wholesale; in total a $14 Billion portfolio. He was directly responsible for creating over $3 Billion in revenue through the identification, development and implementation of strategic pricing actions. His executive responsibilities at BellSouth encompassed key Marketing, Market Research, Competitive Analysis, and Product Management functions.
Prior to BellSouth, Mr. Arnold had responsibility for all Business and Wholesale individual case pricing at Sprint. Earlier in his career, Mr. Arnold also held key positions in Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Finance and Engineering with Telecom*USA, SouthernNet, ICC Telecommunications and Texas Instruments.
Mr. Arnold is a graduate of the Missouri University of Science and Technology with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
